#Innova firebird plus
Star Plastic offers the same outstanding durability of regular Champion Plastic, plus improved grip like the Pro Plastic. If you already have that extremely overstable fairway and are looking for a reliably overstable fairway that gets you a bit more distance I would try out a sexton firebird for sure. The Star Line is created with a special blend of grippy, resilient polymers. These discs all fill the same overstable fairway slot and do it very well. Overall – I would recommend the firebird or FD3 or Felon or whichever brand that you like. But I love this disc for backhand dogleg shots as it seems to always skip more than any other disc in my bag. Because I have a weak forehand, I don’t throw this forehand unless I’m in a very tricky situation where I need a flick roller or a tomahawk or something like that to get out of trouble. You can definitely still trust this disc into a headwind but it will still get you a good amount of distance before fading out. It feels good for both backhand and forehand shots and the color glow champion plastic is super durable and is pretty grippy compared to other extremely durable plastics and is probably my favorite plastic that innova makes.įlight – The Sexton firebirds are a bit less stable than a regular flat 12x champion run but they are a bit more glidey. I’ve only felt a few sexton firebirds other than this one and they’ve seemed to be fairly flat. Many firebirds are fairly flat, but ideally the flat ones are usually the best/most overstable/most comfortable for a forehand grip. Feel – The firebird fits very nicely in the hand as is has a fairly narrow rim.
